software integration key strategy for Flux

ready to communicate

Software integration is a key strategy for Flux. Therefore, data exchange between Flux and your existing software is now simpler than ever before.

Flux is perfectly integrated into your CAE chain

  • One click export to Excel, Matlab or to create files in CSV or Matlab® format.
  • Import of CAD models
  • Portunus system simulator coupling (in 2D & 3D), Matlab Simulink in 2D & 3D
  • User can use API to drive Flux from an other environment
  • SPEED & Motor-CAD  for the direct import of rotating electrical machine data

New solutions in Flux® to improve motor vibro-acoustic performance

The vibro-acoustic noises are generated by electric devices (like the traction electric motors) and their control and driving systems. Designers have to be able to compute the magnetic pressure inside the devices in order to evaluate the amount of forces that will be propagated in the whole considered structure. The impact of design variables on the vibrations and noises, which are generated in the structure, has to be evaluated. To do that, vibro-acoustic sensitivity analyses have to be performed. One of the latest functions developed in Flux® is a specific environment dedicated to vibro-acoustic analysis.

First, Flux 2D/3D allows fast and reliable computing of the magnetic forces. Before exportation, users will be able to display and control the suitability of results in Flux®.
After that, the magnetic forces and their associated harmonics can be easily exported to software tailored to the vibro-acoustic as MSC Nastran® and LMS Virtual.Lab® .

> In the video below, there is an example of how magnetic forces have been computed and are applied on the nodes of the 3D mechanical structure.
