SMAC technology : The ability to perform an operation and verify that it is accurate at the same time
CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES is the representative of SMAC technology in France. This technology provides a comprehensive motion control package including standard moving coil actuators (CAL, LAL, LAS & LAR) and their related electronics & controllers. These linear magnetic actuators (CAL, LAL & LAS models) perform displacements of several millimetres (up to 150 mm) with a high precision (down to 0.5 microns). The linear displacement can also be combined with a precise rotation (LAR models) thanks to an additional brush motor and an angular encoder. When the motion control exerts a high demand, for example multi axis or faster motion control, SMAC offers a range of linear stages & grippers as well as multipole versions of its linear actuators.
SMAC applications are able to switch test, thread check, pick & place, pick, orient & press, glass cut, chip mount, wire bond, die bond, polish lens, carry out medical assembly and precision elevator operations, etc…
SMAC has complete control over an actuator by using three different control modes : “force”, ”speed” & “position”, and thus ensures higly reliable industrial automation. Additional options are available including specific mechanical shaft interfaces, vacuum grips, high torque gearboxes, OEM versions, etc…
